How do I obtain a Provisional Brokers license?
Four easy steps to the licensing process:

Step 1: Pre-licensing course: take approved course offered through certified Education Providers like Ignite School of Real Estate; pass the end-of-course exam.

Step 2: Background check: before submitting license application, order online at NCRECCHECK.com; vendor will provide report to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC).

Step 3: License application: online application at NCREC.gov; pairs with background check; $100 application fee; receive Notice of Exam Eligibility.

Step 4: License examination: schedule testing appointment with Pearson VUE; score 75 on both the National and State section within the 180 day exam eligibility period.

I have not been to school in many years. Am I going to be able to handle a real estate course?
You will need to schedule study time outside of the classroom. Make sure that you are reading material ahead of each class, engage during the class, ask questions, and study after each class. There are mandatory quizzes and a midterm to help you stay on track. You can do it!
What is the attendance policy for Broker Pre-Licensing classes?
Students in an in-person or synchronous distance learning Broker Prelicensing Course must attend a minimum of 90% of all scheduled instructional hours. Attendance for in-person courses will be documented each day based on the physical attendance and attention of the student. Attendance for synchronous distance courses shall be based on the student’s being on camera, interacting appropriately with the instructor and other students, and participating in required activities. Course monitors will maintain contact with synchronous students to ensure adequate attendance monitoring. Though you can ask your instructor for the information that you missed during an absence, you are not able to make up hours in another course. There is no such thing as an excused absence.
What if I am unable to complete the course?
