Good teachers are hard to find in any industry. Finding someone that knows the business, has lived it and has the gift of teaching it to others is very rare. Tracy Frazier is that rare teacher. Real estate is a broad, complicated industry that at first glance seems too overwhelming to try to grasp. You can easily look at the mountain of information you have to learn in a relatively short period of time and think there’s no way I can do this. Then you get a teacher like Tracy. There is no doubt that a teacher makes the difference. At 56, I successfully completed my Prelicensing and Postlicensing 101 and 102 classes with Tracy Frazier. I can honestly say, without her, I would still be wondering why, at my age, did I ever start such an endeavor. Rumors seem true – NC is one of the hardest real estate exams to pass but attending Tracy’s in class lectures helped put live scenarios with real case studies so it’s a true learning process instead of just a memorizing vocabulary exercise. Tracy sets everyone up for success and promotes a confidence I did NOT have – especially math. As a long-time broker herself, she makes you excited to become your own broker, encourages networking and problem-solving discussion. Tracy made it fun and passing on the first try is always a plus!! Definitely a five-start opportunity!

I took the real estate pre-licensing class with Melea as well as a post-licensing class. She is a fantastic teacher and very thorough. Melea introduced many applicable examples, practice instruments and resources we could use to enhance understanding of the material as well as presenting information in an organized and strategic manner. Melea is an expert in the information being taught and really invests her time in keeping up with current events and updated information throughout the year. I credit the presentation of material and followed her instructions and advice on how to learn the material and retain it to passing all the things the first time around! You cannot go wrong choosing Melea as an instructor!

I have had the pleasure of having Melea Lemon as my real estate postlicensing instructor for two of my classes in March 2023. She made the classes fun and easy to understand. Throughout the classes, she made every student feel engaged. By selecting Melea as your instructor, you will learn a lot about real estate from her. If I know of anyone who is interested in taking real estate for prelicensing, postlicensing, and continuing education, I would refer them to Melea based on my experience with her. After obtaining my full brokerage license, I pursued higher education, and asked Melea for a letter of recommendation. She was happy to write one for me and I got into the university of my choice.

Melea Lemon is a fantastic instructor. She uses lots of real-world examples that not only help to explain very complicated real estate topics, but also engage her students. Melea’s classroom management skills create a fun, positive learning environment which cultivates a sense of community among students. She truly cares about her students’ success both in the classroom and after they move into the real estate industry. She gives everyone her personal contact information and always responds, not matter how trivial the question. When I took my North Carolina Real Estate Licensing Exam I could actually hear Melea’s voice directing me on how to correctly answer the tricky questions. Her positive attitude, humor and passion for what she does makes her an exceptional educator.

Tracy is the epitome of what you want and need as a teacher. As a student, you want a teacher who can teach the X’s and O’s, but also make it relatable. Tracy has a knack for doing just that – using her experience and passion, to better explain the most complex of topics. Her extensive real estate experience has afforded her a deep understanding of real estate principles, laws, and markets. She has clear and effective communication, and uses varied teaching methods, like case studies, to keep students engaged. She makes every classroom an inviting one. She may even make you dance to loosen up before challenging material. She is always available to answer questions, even after the course is over. More than anything, you want a teacher who believes in you and wants the best for you. Tracy’s ultimate goal was always very evident, for her students to be successful. I wouldn’t be where I am today, as an agent, without Tracy Frazier as my teacher.

I recently took and passed the 75hr pre-licensing course and my instructor was Melea Lemon. I think I speak for all of my classmates when I say Melea was a joy to have as an instructor. The course work wasn’t easy, but to have an instructor who can compare real life scenarios to every possible pre-exam question set us miles ahead. Myself along with several classmates made sure to personally thank and congratulate Ms Lemon.

I had Tracy as a pre-licensing instructor, and I highly recommend her. Tracy is an excellent instructor who keeps class on track and with great examples. She has an excellent way of teaching and keeping you engaged while keeping it fun. I was 100% prepared for the tests at the end of the sessions. She is helpful even after the class has ended.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to have taken my pre-licensing classes with Melea as my instructor. She does such a fantastic job at presenting the information in a memorable way!
